At the foundation of Breema are the Nine Principles of Harmony, universal principles which become a guide for a deeper connection to yourself and with everyone you come in contact with. Unlike traditional therapies that focus solely on symptom relief, Breema helps both patients and practitioners develop a sustainable, functional connection between body, mind, and feelings.
Breema is a practical, hands-on method that brings a profound sense of unity and harmony to those who practice it. Through a unique blend of bodywork and Self-Breema exercises, energy lost to tension is conserved, and becomes available for our body’s innate self-healing mechanisms.
Breema can be incorporated into patient sessions to help decrease stress, support body-mind connection, and for a direct experience of feeling supported physically, mentally, and emotionally during the session. Practitioners in medicine, acupuncture, psychotherapy, physical therapy, and bodywork can use Breema to complement their treatments and prevent burnout. As one’s inner posture towards patient care changes, this supports the practitioner-client relationship, which can enhance the experience of mutual support and mutual benefit. The small physical interactions become much more pleasing for both doctor and patient, and even just listening with a stethoscope, administering an injection, shaking hands, or doing any sort of bodywork becomes a part of the healing experience.
Yes! Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which may count toward continuing education credits, depending on your professional field. The hours can also be used for completion of a 165-hour Breema practitioner certification at the Breema Center in Oakland, California.
